Lodge of Instruction

The Orient Lodge Class of Improvement

The members of Orient Lodge believe that masonry should be enjoyed, and are also conscientious about the standard of work they produced in the lodge. This is exemplified by the time and effort members put in at the Lodge of Instruction, where members practice their Masonic ritual. The meetings are held in a friendly atmosphere and give members the opportunity to learn and practice at a speed to suit all, especially new members who are just starting in masonry. This is also an opportunity to meet, get to know and strike up lasting friendships with the Lodge members.

During the months of October to May Orient Lodge hold their lodge of instruction at the Masonic Centre in Lowestoft at least twice before the main meeting and also have a rehearsal the evening before the main meeting.

The Lodge of Instruction is held every two weeks, (Average), at 7.30pm The dates are usually published on the summons and by phone/email and on the lodge website.

At Christmas time the Lodge of Instructions arrange a supper one evening at the centre.
