About Our Meetings
The Orient Lodge meets at the Lowestoft Masonic Centre, The Avenue, Lowestoft, from October through May, on the first Wednesday of each month. As a winter Lodge, there are no meetings from June to September, but members are often invited to other lodges as guests and may join other lodges if interested.
The March meeting is the Installation meeting, where the new Worshipful Master and officers are installed. There are 8 regular meetings each year, held at 6:15 PM on the first Wednesday of the month, except for the March meeting, which is held earlier for installation.
After Lodge work, members retire to the bar and then to dinner, continuing Masonic traditions and socializing with members and guests from all walks of life. Guests are always welcome, especially at Christmas time.
